Art Directors Club Awards
Filling out paperwork for creative competitions is a process that can at best be described as a necessary evil. Karlssonwilker’s call-for-entries campaign for the ADC’s 102nd Annual Awards sought to incentivize young creatives by injecting a sense of irreverent fun into the experience. We created “ADC Gold Cube Blazing Time Invasion” — an ‘80s-style video game that invited players to shoot blazing balls of fire at past award-winners’ work, framing the playful battle as a form of ritual that cleared the way for the ideas of a new generation. Besides the satisfaction of blowing up advertising landmarks by industry legends, top scorers also qualified for free or discounted entries.
