One of the oldest bars in Reykjavik, KAFFIBARINN has been “serving thirsty people since 1993”. A cozy café during the day, at night it turns into a hip party place with an impressive DJ line-up and crowds spilling out into the courtyard until the early mornings.

What you are seeing here right now was supposed to be a larger outdoor sign for KAFFIBARINN, for people to see it better from Laugavegur, the main shopping street, so they can find it easier. Through some creative maneuvering and the open minds of the client, it was agreed that the crowds should continue to wander in search of KAFFIBARINN, and we should instead create a KAFFIBARINN birdhouse for sale at famed Reykjavik design store, EPAL. The human brain works in mysterious ways.
