In 2015 we were hired by Bloomberg to re-design Bloomberg Markets, The Journal of Global Finance. For three months we worked closely with Bloomberg's editor-in-chief, creative director, and writers to develop a comprehensive style guide that would bring a new vision to the magazine. The initial direction from the client was that the new design “should look and feel like a journal” with more extensive interviews and articulated visuals. Our design was later implemented by the new in-house design team. The first issue launched April 2016.
The style guide specifies that the bi-monthly magazine commissions a new illustrator every sixth issue, and with it a new season of the periodical begins.
