Art Directors Club Young Guns

The identity and campaign for the Art Directors Club’s Young Guns 4 included the development of a lower-case alphabet and the return of our old friend “the figure.” The logo itself is up for interpretation: some see a young person carelessly trampling an old person (possibly their "obsolete" mentor), while others see an old person carrying a young one to new heights.

The website had an audio recording of one of the project meetings as the background sound, revealing typical designer talk from all of us—not pretty.
