Vitra: ID Chair

Antonio Citterio’s ID Chair Concept is Vitra’s first office chair system. All components can be configured, from the upholstery, to the seat tilts, to various casters. Each chair is built to an individual’s specifications and there are over 20,000 possible combinations.

We created three animations using the chair’s interchangeable parts to emphasize its universe of possibilities. The animations were then used as the basis for all campaign materials that followed, including an interactive microsite that featured an intuitive drag-and-drop chair configurator. The ID Chair Concept became one of Vitra’s all-time bestsellers.
